Chasing Food Is Better Than Chasing Boys!

 

I always wonder what is in a guy? Why do girls run behind them when they have “better things” to follow? I can pinpoint many “better things” which are more reliable than men are. Let’s say, Food! Customizing your own food is great fun, but can you do the same for a guy? I don’t think so. Come on girls, let’s have some entertainment.

 

Here are some reasons, why becoming a foodie is better than becoming a “man-stricken”:

 

1.     Food can be all delicious and perfect but are boys perfect? No, not even one I know!

 

2.     Food comes with labels. We know its ingredients, but we can never know what is going on in a guy’s mind.

 

3.     We can afford a steak, yeah it is expensive but definitely not more than those Nike shoes you gifted him on his birthday.

 

4.     Your family will love if you bring them some Chinese food but imagine getting your boyfriend home without a prior notice.

 

5.     Food never asks you to make eye contact while it is in your mouth.

 

6.     You gain more pounds suddenly; I can already hear them shout. But food, you can hog it till your mouth wants.

 

7.     You don’t have to worry about your make up and attire while with those yummy tacos and Panini.

 

8.     Food will never think that your sister is hotter than you.

 

9.     You will never mind if everybody in the world will love the same food as you love.

 

10.                        Food will never show you tantrums but boys will certainly do especially on this post

You held me gently on the day I took my first breath,

You held my hand when I walked my first step,

You held me close,when my tears would start to fall,

You held me to show, all of your care for me!

 

You helped me punctuate my words,

You guided me through right and wrong,

You helped bend me into all you knew I could be,

You comforted my hurts that never showed!

 

You are now wrinkling and I know it is your turn to be held by me,

Your hands are stumbling and need my touch,

You are the most beautiful woman I know,

And the reason I am me!

Everything Happens For A Reason!

 

There was a little girl who was all set to go to Shimla for the holidays with her family. But on the day of departure, due to heavy traffic the family is unable to reach the station on time and miss their train. Everybody comes home disappointed. The little girl is very upset and blames God for spoiling her holidays. The next day all the headlines read, “Train to Shimla goes off track; All dead.” Looking at this, the family is stunned and satisfied at the same time. They immediately thank God for saving their lives.

 

This was just an anecdote. But some things take place that has no relevance at times but they just happen. You must have never thought about it, but they do come about. The more I think about this, the more I believe in it. I trust God and I know whatever happens has a reason behind it. He does things for some cause we aren’t aware of. Let us say, you flunk in an exam, obviously you will fail because you were out hanging with friends and catching up on your favorite television show on the day prior to your test. Or let us take it in an another way, you get a new job, this too has a logic, you got through because you applied for it, you interviewed well and the company thought you were the best candidate for that post. See, didn’t I tell you everything happens for a reason.

 

I believe nothing happens out of chance or good luck, it has a thought deep down somewhere. The only problem is that it takes a while for us to realize the grounds. You come across many people and for some you know right away that they are meant to be yours. Everybody comes in our life to serve some purpose or the other. They can be anybody and can stay with us for any period of time: Brief or Long. But once you lock your eyes with  them and at that very moment you know that they will affect you in a profound way. Some may give you happiness and some may even give you pain but remember problems contribute to your mental growth. Without obstacles, your life would be a smooth, straight, flat path leading to nowhere. Life would become dull and uninspiring. So, facing problem is no doubt tough but that too happens for a reason and that reason is decided by God and He can never harm His followers. The bad experiences too can be learned from.

 

For instance, someone hurts you or breaks your trust or heart; forgive them for they have helped you understand what trust is and have taught you to be more cautious the next time you choose people. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally because they are the ones who encouraged you to love and to open your heart.

 

You have all the rights in the world to hold your head high and walk. Appreciate yourself and your life for what it is. Break free and do whatever you wish for. Infact I suggest you to go for the things first, you are afraid of. Believe me it will be thrilling and electrifying and stimulating. Only you can make your life anything you wish. Do what you love and see the magic. Most importantly, if you love someone, tell them and keep reminding them. Live without regrets and finally look forward to learning a new lesson each day and enjoying your journey.

 

BECAUSE EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON!!!!!

 

 

 

 

         HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH LIFE?????

A new morning brings you a lot of opportunities; grab them. You are the most important person of your life- every morning look at yourself in the mirror and utter these words, " I Love Myself" and see how lovely your days become. Do not think what people say or do or talk, focus on how you live your life. Salute yourselves for what you are and for surviving all the odds rather than comparing your life with the others'. Let all the sadness and negativity flow away from your soul and let it become a pure one.

Remind yourself that your life is under your control. Do not let people and your past bother your present. Believe in your strength and let that make you come out of the horrifying experiences if you had any. Let your firmness rule over you. Remember that your life is yours and it hangs in your hands. Stay rigid instead of pulling back and letting your life dangle until it just has had enough and decides to drop. Fall in love. Compromises and sacrifices are a part of love but never let yourself down for the sake of your partner. Remember you have your self respect, do not actually fall for the person because it is both of you in that relationship not only the other person. Put forth your choices in place of listening to your mates'.

Never sit around and feel sorry for yourself because if you sympathize with your life, the people will obviously show pity towards you. Fix this in yourself that you are on this globe to attain everybody's condolence or comfort, you are here to stand up for yourself and show it to the world what you are. Having hot chocolate is much better than sitting in pain and misery, then why not go for the first option?

Soon enough your life will go on a track which you always wanted. Nobody or their life is perfect but if you choose the correct path through your troubles, your life will be the one you always dreamt for, that too with a bright future. Nothing would be a regret and nothing would be of the past.

Like the saying goes' "Do not let your life be controlled by PEOPLE and PAST EXPERIENCES!"

                                            They Too Have A Love Story

"Excuse me, can you please lend me a pen?"

And it all began from here. There they were, in a class of a cent students, but aware only of each other's presence. She hardly talked to strangers. But today, she said as quickly as to a dear friend, "sure here!" And thatt smile with a twinkle in the eye, said it all. She fell for him. And he, for that shy smile. Their eyes could not leave the other's for a long time.

That was how Meher and Ayaan met!

She was an outgoing and expressive person, but only for her friends. She could not open so much to him, at first. But he was so outgoing that almost everyone at the college was his friend. He revealed is charm to her.

Days passed and they started to know each other, better. From a "pen-lending friend", she became his special girl. Someone whom he adored. From a hero of the college guy, he became her special man. Someone, whom she loved to be with, always. Then finally, LOVE took over!

Sometimes, the four-lettered word was not enough to describe their bond. Sometimes, it was more than love. After that "official declaration" of their relationship, they became the most talked about couple at the college.

"My girl should be like Meher!", the guys said.

"My dream man resembles Ayaan!", the girls expressed, blushing.

"We want to be like them!", they said together.

They were the best together. There was nobody else perfect for Meher and nobody else meant for Ayaan. But, very few know that they are ways apart. Their opinions, thoughts, choices, likes and paths differ. Let's not say differ. Let's say they are completely opposite.We have this very rare moment when they think, believe or choose something similar. Everybody loved them dearly and could not see them apart. And their being together brought satisfaction to all.Their arguments made everybody nervous, upset.

For me, they should not fight. Leave fight, not even argue. Beacuse, if they do so, whom would I listen to saying, "I love Ayaan so much!" I must listen to it atleast once a day, if not twice.They have a very unique kind of relationship where there was happiness, sadness, care, support and lots and lots of love.They were made and also mad for each other.

So these were Meher and Ayaan- the most beautiful couple I have ever met!!!!!!
